I have a 94 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.9l 360 with an automatic transmission. First problem was oil leaking from the engine so I replaced the rear main seal after puting all back together and starting there was a bad grinding noise from the front of trany.
What I need to know is this the ring gear im hearing and if so how hard will this be to change? Does the transmission need to be dropped to change ring gear? How expensive will this be? And am I in the right direction with this or is it something else? Your Answer:Looking for a Used RAM 1500 in your area?CarGurus has 2,637 nationwide RAM 1500 listings starting at $1,699.
