Size Difference
One of the main differences between the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer and the 2022 Chevy Blazer is the size. The Trailblazer fits into the compact SUV segment, while the Blazer is a midsize model with seating for five. From the outside, the two models look quite different as well. The Blazer shares some of its aggressive styling cues with the Camaro, making it a sportier ride than the more traditional Trailblazer. The larger SUV also includes 18-inch wheels and upgraded lighting as standard features.
Engine Options
The Trailblazer comes with a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that puts out 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. Chevy also offers a specially tuned version of the engine, bundled with its AWD system, that generates 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. If that's not enough power, the Blazer might be a better option for you. The lower trims come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The RS trim has a more powerful 3.6-liter V-6 unit that produces 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.
When you're ready to head out on a test drive, you're sure to love what Chevy has to offer to buyers. Each of these models boasts impressive features and plenty of appeal.
