"We held a surprise birthday party at the QD in the Silver Room on November 5th, . The QD Venue is a nice spot. What drew me in was that they had vendors who cater the food and they also decorate for you. I met with Tom a couple times to drop off payment and to go over details. He promised me they would deliver on all agreements. Which put my mind at ease because usually Iā€™m the one behind the scenes making sure it all happens from food to decor with my siblings. So it was a weight lifted knowing the QD would handle most of the work for us. We were also promised kitchen use on the night of event because while food was being catered for our guests which was close family. We wanted to provide some food from our culture for our family as well. Tom told us that the Silver Room would be available to us pm-am and that everything would be ready. I arrived the day of event at noon to deliver a throne chair (white with gold trim) to the silver room for my mom to sit in for the party. I couldnā€™t put it in the room at that time because they were mopping. And all we asked Tom for when it came to decorations were that the overlay for table be gold and centerpiece gold related with the chairs. When I walked in it was silver chairs with a silver runner. And I talked to the party planner who was there and he said Tom never mentioned anything to him. (RED FLAG especially when you are spending thousands of dollars!) He told me heā€™ll fix it by the time we arrive back for the party. I left to get things ready at home. My sister arrives at 5ish (party isnā€™t until ) and they fixed up our decor but our throne chair for the birthday girl that I rented is missing. They took it and put it in their other event in the bigger room and when my sister went to get it back. They were giving her a hard time about it. Very unprofessional. Finally we get everything straightened out and they are still trying to finish the centerpieces as our guest arrive. Ghetto. Before the party even startedā€¦ their catering vendor started serving food to our guest at 6pm. My sister had to stop them bc we havenā€™t started and Tom told us they would start at 7pm. Our party started, and where the bartending bar is set up, the vendors left their personal belongings behind. Which was out in the open. Unprofessional. They charged us for a extra table. $ for an extra table for the cake table. We paid $ for ā€œkitchen useā€ and didnā€™t even get to use it. And they didnā€™t serve the coke, sprite, and water they promised to serve. With all the hiccups we still made the best of things during my moms surprise birthday party. We had special performances and our family enjoyed themselves on the dance floor but then they had a leak from their vent which wet the whole floor and they had to come mop it. So unprofessional. For the amount of money spent things should have ran smoothly, more better, and Tom should learn how to communicate with his vendors/workers/party guests. But itā€™s all just money for him. Never will I be doing business with QD and Iā€™ll make sure those around me know about it as well."

"Love this place! Came here several times for dancing in the evening and itā€™s a beautiful venue. There are two different ballrooms and the staff and security are very welcoming and provide great customer service! Great place to also have a private party, wedding reception, or a quinceanera. Highly recommend checking this place out!"
