When the player first arrives at Room 930, they will arrive at a room with nd a keypad. Getting close to the keypad reveals an objective for the player: "Find the code". After they enter the metal door, they will see a display of various materials on the two walls next to the player, and at the end of the left hallway, a cork board with a post-it note revealing the code, as well as a closed metal gate. In order to progress, the player needs to interact with the post-it note, go back to the entrance, enter the code (interact with the keypad), and then go back to the room with the materials again. When the player is about halfway down the hallway, a monster that appears to be a ball of electricity emerges and the chase begins. The monster is called the Splitter.
