What does it mean to be a member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons?

Founded in 1931, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. It is exclusively composed of plastic surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) who perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Is James Mcadoo board

Priding himself on results and quality patient experience, the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS).

What is a good step 1 score for plastic surgery?

A solid plastics application would include a 250+ on Step 1, 245+ on Step 2, a LOR from 1-3 plastic surgeons, and a strong MSPE/Dean's letter.

What is the difference between a plastic surgeon and board

Board certification shows that the surgeon has taken additional steps to perform cosmetic surgery safely and ethically. They have completed the additional residency, as discussed above, and commit themselves to upholding safety and ethical standards as part of their certification.
