No Spoilers! I wouldn't know where to even begin when it comes to all the good things I have to say about Attack on Titan. The Anime (& of course Manga) hits with such a visceral impact that you will be left with a craving for more and more content and a desire to talk about it and question choices and characters for years to come. It is so we'll written and fleshed out that the characters and their challenges will feel like they are yours as well.I've waited a long time for Season 4 & I'm very happy with what MAPPA has done with this series. The pacing is absolutely perfect and I'm glad they didn't rush to conclude things. This is Part 1 (16 Episodes) of a 2 Part Season. It is still premature to know at this time if there will be a Part 3 or a Movie finale. Again, this is because it is clear that MAPPA nailed the pacing and knew that they needed to bring their "A Game" to make the Final Season perfect.I will not fault this show for the condition I received it in. This unfortunately happens from time to time.

I'm a huge AOT fan and have been on a recent binge buying up Blu Rays for each of the seasons. I have the complete sets for each prior season and just knew I wouldn't be able to wait for The Final Season complete set, so I went ahead and bought Part 1 and so far have not regretted it! My package didn't come damaged like other reviewer's, and I watch in Japanese dub with subtitles (can change languages on the Main Menu under Setup), so I can't comment on the dub.

At the time of writing, I've just finished Disc 1 (Eps 60-65) and I've been pretty blown away with how much better the Blu Ray releases of those episodes look compared to the TV versions. The TV versions of the eps are what are on streaming services (Funimation, Crunchyroll, etc.) and while the changes are generally pretty subtle on the Blu Rays (the occasional redrawn face, extra blood, etc.), the one thing that isn't is the removal of the film grain (blur?) effect that was used on the TV versions. This has such a huge impact on making the Final Season Part 1 look so much more clean and polished, that it's really a shame streaming services will likely never put the Blu Ray eps on their sites!

If you want to watch the Final Season Part 1 in it's highest quality with the best visuals, I can't recommend this Blu Ray enough! While it's still a notch below how amazing Part 2 looks (currently airing), it is a massive step-up from how Part 1 looked upon initial TV/streaming release!

I think this is the way to experience attack on titan due to surround. Tried watching on Netflix and stereo sound was pathetic. The product itself is good, what you'd expect: discs and the cardboard with the code for the digital version. No extras, booklets etc. My 4 star review is for the content itself... Definitely the weakest in the series. Don't really give a damn about the Marleyans and even less after the girl.... You know what she did. Also sort of cheap that all other seasons are part1/2 and this one is "final season" part 1 of 2,3... and counting

This review isn't about the story, everyone will have their own opinion on that. I'm going to focus on the actual set and the animation quality. To begin with, the set itself is very nice. The case is nice, the limited edition extras were really cool too. If I could have gotten a limited edition with Season 1 part 2 and Season 3 part 1 I would have been sooo happy, that way my AOT shelf would match, but alas. Presentation was really nice, they did a good job there. Here's my gripe: what happened to the animation?! I can imagine the studio is being pressured to churn more content even faster due to the popularity of the series, but come on. The CG in this season is glaringly ugly. Choppy and unnatural character movement, unbelievable physics, and just seemingly lazy action sequences. A quick google search shows that the animation studio was changed for this final season, and it is to the detriment of the series in my opinion. Really, really disappointed in the animation quality, there were several times I had to pause and just shake my head. I would have waited another year with bated breath for some mind blowing animation as has come to be expected from AOT, but we got this, a forced money grab. I am just let down by this new animation studio, not happy about that at all. Even more disappointing is they will probably be used for the final season part 2 as well. Way to wreck a good thing, guys, good job. Well you got my money, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Have had the full collection of episodes for awhile now, good to add episodes 60 through 75 to my collection, and the tweaking to the animation has made it MUCH better than the streaming versions. Something to note and look out for though, unlike the other five "Single part" collections this set has 6 discs instead of 4. 3 blu-ray & 3 DVD. I got all 6 in mine, however my friend was missing disc 1 of the DVD's, its underneath the insert for the digital code.

I've been watching Attack on Titan since last year and now I'm currently caught up with season 4 Part 1. This Blu Ray/DVD combo came in great condition and all discs work well with no freezing on episodes. I don't understand the 1 star reviews saying no subtitles. All you need to do is go to setup in the main menu and turn on Japanese Dolby audio. Great start to season 4.

I absolutely love attack on titan and have been a huge fan of it since 2013, I have all of the seasons on blu-ray and dvd at home!!!

Perfect condition. The box with extras was a bit squished, but the pins and cards were perfect condition. The blurays and DVDs were all well preserved.

Love the Attack On Titan series and looking forward to watching this but I'm only giving four stars as I'm a bit disappointed it didn't come with a cardboard sleeve like the item picture suggests.
