Nostalgia runs high for 1960s muscle cars, but in the case of the Dodge Charger, the remake is more profound than the original. Although the Charger can't quite match the unfiltered sense of speed in those old, body-on-frame cars, this large, rear-wheel-drive sedan is still incredibly quick. Dodge offers a standard base V6, but the Charger performs best with one of the V8 engines. It makes terrific driving sounds as you lean into the gas pedal — that's a big part of its appeal.
