My phone dropped from my pocket (about a 2.5 feet drop) and my screen completely shattered. The product is flawed, and it does not provide edge to edge protection for the new iPhones which now have a glass screen all the way around. Do yourself a favor, and do not waste your hard earned money on this useless product. Buy a screen protector with Edge to Edge protection, which this does not have. The edge of the screen is still vulnerable to shattering. I emailed tech support which said the product is not mean to protect the phone from "excessive or high intensity force". Now clean the phone then pull the adhesive clear film off the glass then lay the glass on the phone and

Its far too narrow and the stupid frame doesnt help with applying it at all! These tempered glass protectors are incredibly resistant to scratches and scuffs - it looks brand new several months later. I've also dropped the phone onto tiles a few times, and, together with a rubber case, it's done the job of protecting the glass. Previously I've gone for softer protectors that split and scuff at the first sign of a jeans pocket. You tend to have to replace one every couple of months or so and they look terrible most of the time.
