I have rented her some new, interesting looking movies (She doesn't have Netflix), and will get her a smoothie on my way to her house because those were lifesavers when I had mine pulled. I can't think of anything else. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Edit: This was all really helpful! Hope other people see this and use the advice.

Just had wisdom tooth extraction? Look Here.
Here's Your personal care package!
Wisdom tooth removal is one of the most common types of oral surgery we perform in Sydney. Fortunately your recovery can be quite straightforward and predictable, so long as you know how to properly care for the extraction site.
If You’re Getting Sedation
Sedative medication allows you to feel as if you’re napping during your wisdom tooth removal. But depending on the type of sedative used, it can take a few hours for the drowsiness to completely wear off. You’ll spend a short period in our private recovery area, but it’s vital that you have a trusted friend or family member drive you home and stay close by for the rest of the day.
When and What to Eat
The numbing anaesthetic can also take a few hours to wear off (similar to when you get a dental crown.) Avoid eating anything, so that you don’t accidentally bite your lips, tongue, or cheeks. Once you do, don’t eat anything too hot, to avoid accidental burns.
For the first few days, plan to stay hydrated and eat softer foods. Pudding, yogurt, applesauce, and gelatine are a few good examples. The goal is to not eat anything that will disrupt your wisdom tooth extraction site as it heals. On that note, avoid drinking carbonated beverages, alcohol, or using a straw for at least the first week or so.
Post-Operative Discomfort
Swelling is the main source of discomfort following any oral surgery. To minimise inflammation, take an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication and alternate a cold and warm compress on the side of your face. If needed, our Sydney dentists can also prescribe medication as your body heals.
If for any reason pain worsens and does not improve, you could have a dry socket. Contact our Sydney dentists immediately. We are available 24/7 for emergency care.
“When Will I Feel Back to Normal?”
Although you can typically do things around the house the next day or two, you’ll probably want at least a few days off from work or school. Some people take up to about a week before they feel themselves. Avoid doing any rigorous exercise for at least a week or to, since the rise in your blood pressure could dislodge the clot in your wisdom tooth extraction site.
Caring for Your Extraction Site
Keeping your oral surgery site clean is vital to a quick recovery. We’ll provide you with written instructions on how to clean and manage these areas at home. Typically you’ll rinse with a warm saltwater solution every so often for the first day or two, to help with swelling and removal of food. Once the sockets begin to close up, you’ll shift back to brushing around those areas.
