Not as good as Arm & Hammer dust free

I usually use one of the Arm & Hammer dust free varieties but, trying to save some money, I tried this one instead. My biggest complaint is that it does nothing for urine odors. I scoop my boxes at least 2-3 times a day and the dust free versions are always odor free. This one doesn't handle the urine smell very well and I went through this 29# box in a week.....vs two weeks with the 28# box of dust free. It clumps just fine, there's no problem with that and the dust isnt terribly bad either. Its just the odor control that Ive had issue with. Will stick to A&H dust free I guess.

Not the same as others?

So thus is my go to cat litter! It has always been amazing and I've been buying it for many years. I decided to buy and over on chewy as I was very busy and thought what the heck having it devliver to the house sound sampling especially sense its so heavy! Well when I received and and opened the cat litter I noticed right away pieces of tiny rocks which I have never once encountered with this cat litter brands before... I thought maybe there was just some big pieces at the top and smaller tiny bits was below it, but NO... I have took a picture to share with you how different these two cat litters are... what baffles me is that they are identical... just one is from chewy and the other is from a local store. I am unsure if I will order cat litter again from chewy.

Awesome When it Clumps

This is a wonderful kitty litter, when it clumps. Very solid clumps and a nice scent that doesn't seem to bother my cats. There are times when the kitty litter doesn't form clumps, leading to a spread out soggy mess when scooping. Maybe a quality control issue, where the entire box of kitty litter doesn't have fine enough sized particles that easily clump together? I don't know. Why do I still use it? Because it mostly works properly, and when it does it is awesome with the clumping. And, I haven't found a better kitty litter. So five stars for when it clumps properly, one star for when I have to deal with areas in the litter boxes that are like wet sand, for a three star rating overall.

Works great

I've used this litter for years and buy it in bulk when it's on sale. It clumps very well. This time I had to buy 40 lb boxes to save money. I don't like to have to handle a box that heavy, but have figured out a way to pour some of it into a smaller container to use. If not for the weight of a 40 lb box this would have had a 5 star rating.

NOT FOR SHADOW

I purchased the 40LB 2X and it does not hold odor well nor does it clump hard. The box packaging should really be reviewed by Arm & Hammer; the handle strip is too small and very light for 40LBS. The box is very difficult to open and has no spout; I had to cut the entire top off to be able to scoop some out. Not a very satisfied customer on this one.

Horrible results!

I was not happy with this product at all. It did not clump hard and the clumps fell apart into numerous little wet clumps. Odor control was 0! The litter box was a wet, smelly mess! I had a photo but couldn't get it to upload.

Satisfied

To put it in plain words, I am satisfied with the service and somewhat price , but I guess that is to be expected the way things are. Know your service to me with two cats helps beingh 92 on a fixed budget and a widower Sincerley George Pastore

Not meant for a multi-cat household

This litter would probably be fine for a household of only 1-2 cats. For our multi-cat household - with multiple litterboxes - it doesn't hold up. We found it got saturated easily & then didn't clump, which made a mess in our rotating automatic litterboxes. And since there was no clump to sift into the waste bins, the wet litter sat there and stank, attracting small bugs! Not really the fault of the litter, but more a bad fit for us, or anyone else who has multiple cats.

Great Litter

I'm always on the lookout for a dust free, clean smelling kitty litter. I do like how this clumps up nicely and has a clean smell. I did notice a little bit of dust, but, you really can't beat this litter. It's a good one.

Great stuff

I started buying this just recently. I changed from another brand. This litter has a good strong scent but a good scent. I have a multi cat house and this definitely keeps the smell of the litter box way down. Clumps very hood. Works the best for my home. It is great quality and will continue buying it.
