Oh this is so good! The candle is a bit too screechy for my taste, and quickly induces a headache for me. But the perfume is beautiful and sophisticated, and thankfully a bit different from the candle.

To me, this smelled like BBW took their Pink Grapefruit's DNA and then added plum/dark fruits + a hint of clean musk - it's bright and sparkly without being too sweet, thanks to the balance of the dark fruity notes. This almost smells like a better version of VS Love Spell!

Excellent concentration/projection. The darker fruits make it seem like it might be best in colder temps, but it does feel like it could work year round. Very safe blind buy, for yourself or as a gift!

Sparkling, popping ripe fruit punch. Uplifting sweet scent that you'd love to spray throughout the day. Beware of it's headache-inducing tendency tho.

Mist and candle: effervescent champagne, sparkly and smells like the color pink (like the packaging). How I wanted mixbar sparkling hibiscus to smell like ie no rose. Mist longevity and projection: low.

Candle projection: good, fills 1 large room

Body cream: strawberry tangerine vanilla
Body wash: strawberry tangerine vanilla
Body lotion: tangerine champagne with berries

I love the body cream and wash, it's a yummy girly strawberry but not gourmand like Strawberry Pound Cake.

Smells exactly like a pack of fruity scooby doo gummies!

This too sweet. Like dumping your head in sugar. This is not for me. Maybe a teenager.

i actually like sweet scents but this is not it:/i love gourmand sweets but this is basically pure sugar.i wish i haven't blind bought this.but here is a tip if u did a mistake like me if u mix this with a body lotion it gives your perfume when u spray it longer lasting and sweet,fruity scent and u can set this with pure seduction by victorias secret in my opinion they are making a good combination

Enjoyed using that one after my shower... clean and happy smell all day long

Just a little review to say that I think BBW Champagne Toast smells very similar to BBW Happy Easter Tutti Frutti as well as BBW Enchanted Potion as well as BBW Champagne Sprinkles…. It smells like sweet syrupy champagne mixed with candied colourful citrus jelly beans or citrus pixi sticks.

It is like it says- a sweet champagne. I havent smelled a purer champagne smell ever. I like it but it's not very lasting, i can smell it for a couple of minutes and then it disappears.

I love sweet and gourmand scents, but in the sweetness I find Champagne Toast a bit tart. It's like one of those sour gummy candies. It's bright and lively for summer and it obviously appeals to many. Bath and Body Works does tend to monkey with their formulas year to year so maybe 2022 was not the best year for this one. I wanted to love it but I'm not onboard with it after a few tries now.

Loving this fruit-packed sparkling effervescent mist. I layer with Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson or Luscious Pink by Mariah. Feels like a fresh pick-me-up. Citrus the right way.

got this as part of a 3 for 2 offer - i was already set on warm vanilla sugar and strawberry pound cake and figured i’d grab this as my extra as i’d seen a bit of hype for it. it’s a very fruity, almost tropical leaning champagne scent. maybe more of a mimosa in that case?
it is very sweet and (vaguely artificially) fruity - so i’d stay away from this one if either of those things put you off. it’s a lot more tropical than i’d usually go for but it does have a summery freshness to it which i like.
personally i wouldn’t repurchase, on offer or not - again, it’s nice, just not my sort of thing.

this scent is extremely sweet so if u dislike sweet scents u should stay away from this one. its also very citrusy so u have to be a fan of citrus to like this. i do get the champagne note and it helps make it smell less childish. imo this scent is only suitable for summer only. personally i like this scent but im not in love with it cause im not huge on citrus. i see why this is many peoples favorite scent tho

I wasn't too crazy about how this smells out of the bottle or on paper, but on my skin it is amazing.

It definitely has a boozy fruity smell. This lasts a while on me.

Wow. I never thought I'd be here saying something was too sweet.. but here we are.
I need to layer this with something else. Very overwhelmingly sweet and the aldehydic and alcoholic champagne is almost headache inducing. do not overspray. I made that mistake and even layering with a super powdery scent did not save it. Will not be rebuying. However, I do enjoy all of the other notes that are present in this composition. So makes me sad.

I really love this in all its forms from Bath & Body Works. It smells fresh, fruity and light. I really like it. I am sensitive to heavy fragrance, and it doesn't make me sick or dizzy. I suppose the perfume community consensus is that bath & body works scents tend to smell "cheap". In my experience, I have smelled many other "expensive" perfumes that did NOT smell this good/unoffensive. In my humble opinion, 'expensive' is not synonymous with smelling good.

A CLASSIC! I really like this scent. It however, does not last long, like most body sprays do, so you have to reapply it every few hours.

Agree with bunnybear777 smells like Hawaiian punch in a bad way. Very juvenile smelling, smells like something a pre teen would wear! I’m using it as a bathroom freshener lol

It's a good universal scent for any season or occasion, but I'm so tired of it. B&BW has either got to put it in their signature collection or leave it behind. I'm sick of the repackages. As for the scent itself, it's okay! A nice bubbly fruity fragrance. The fruits almost read as cherry, which is nice and bright alongside the fizzy champagne. This one lasts significantly -- at least, it did when I used it. (I had a 2020 version I believe!) If you're uncertain about champagne notes (like I am), then test it first. It shouldn't be too difficult to do so, since B&BW is constantly re-releasing it within different collections. The champagne will likely make or break this scent for you.

It reminds me of love spell la creme.

this was the very first scent i got complimented on! i bought this when i started getting an interest in fragrances and my friend told me that i smelled very nice :) anyway it’s definitely a youthful scent, very sweet and fruity, but i wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s cloyingly sweet. the sugar is subtle, it only shows up later once the citrusy top and middle notes wear off.

I love this body spray. It is one of my all time favorites from Bath and Body Works.

this one is nice but not really what i expected. i can tell the champagne note is in there, but it’s overpowered by the sugary fruity-ness which gives it more of a hawaiian punch or gummy bear vibe. it’s definitely a young and girly smell, reminds me of middle school. overall i like it, but i think this is one you’ll have to try before you buy

smells like new years and being 15 again. the scent initially slaps you with bubbly but it just sort of fades away into fruity musky subtlety, smells like how cranberry trader joe's prosecco tastes.

This scent is super hyped up so I blind bought it during the body care sale and was extremely dissapointed. With the love that this scent receives I was expecting something amazing, and what I smelled was just... not. To me this smells like a gross, rotten, sour shampoo with this weird alcohol note that I don't like. I tried to give this a chance but it just smelled so nasty to me I couldn't deal with it and gave it away to a friend. I have come to realize that I hate the way that Bath and Bodyworks does their "champagne" scents, as Love Cotton Candy Champagne has the same disgusting note that Champagne Toast has. Overall, this is overhyped and gross, don't get it.

EDIT: I don't own this fragrance, but I like it now. I have smelled this on my best friend (the same one I gave my OG bottle away to), and in stores. It actually smells really, really good. I take back all I said about the rotten shampoo, but I do think this is overhyped still. It smells good, but it's not groundbreaking. It's not something I personally would see myself wearing (since I like sickening gourmands 24/7), but I think a lot of people would still like it.
