Rockwall, TX — Tonight, the City of Rockwall is poised to begin to the Concert by the Lake Series on the The Brad Griggs Amphitheater Stage at The Harbor! This summer event begins Thursday, May 12, and is brought to you by the Rockwall Parks and Recreation Department, another reason why Rockwall is the Free Live Music Capital of North Texas. All concerts start at 7:30 p.m. at The Harbor Amphitheater. Bring chairs, blankets, picnics and beverages. This event allows BYOB. Restaurants at The Harbor provide food choices. Food can be brought in or delivered. The concert will only be cancelled if there is RAIN or SEVERE WEATHER at the start of the show. However, the start of the concert could be pushed back by a little bit if the forecast shows no further rain. Rockwall kicks off the annual Concert By The Lake series with Midnight Soul, a popular Dallas party band. Midnight Soul is a high energy party band with an impressive lineup of seasoned musicians. Their show includes 2 powerhouse vocalists, 5 multi-talented instrumentalists, and engaging choreography. Midnight Soul performs a well-rounded repertoire of hits from the 60s to today. Concert goers will enjoy a remarkably memorable evening as the band takes the lakeside concert to the next level! On concert nights when there are large crowds, the City of Rockwall wants you to be aware of where you can and cannot park for events. Most notably, there is no on-grass parking anywhere at The Harbor. Overflow parking is in the FREE parking garage in the TREND HR building at the top of Summer Lee Drive. The map shows where you can park. It’s recommend to park at or around 6:30 pm at latest if you need to park closer to the venue. By 7:30pm both public lots and most of the street side parking can be full. This is when you should head to the top of the hill and park in the FREE parking garage in the Trend HR building. The parking garage has 2 entrances, one on the north side if you’re coming from I-30, and one on the south side if you’re coming off of Summer Lee Drive.
