The 18th episode, No Matter How Many Lives, Demon Slayer Season 2 came to a close on February 13, 2022. Hideki Hosokawa directed the episode, which was written by Toshiyuki Shirai and Takashi Suhara. It’s only been a few months since the episode aired, and Netflix has yet to set a release date for the series due to the short time frame. As previously stated, the platform typically requires some time between series in order to get such developments approved and made available on the streaming platform, which can take some time.  

According to What’s On Netflix, fans may be able to expect Season 2 to appear sometime in 2023. The assumption is based on the fact that Netflix picked up Demon Slayer Season 1 about 16 months after the Japanese finale aired.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Plot

Demon Slayer is an epic story that follows Tanjiro, a nice youngster who is distraught after his entire family is slaughtered by demons, with his sister becoming a demon as well. After completing their recuperation training at the Butterfly Mansion, Tanjiro and the crew board the Mugen Train for their next mission, where nearly 40 persons have vanished in a short amount of time. 

Tanjiro and Nezuko, together with Zenitsu and Inosuke, join Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, one of the Monster Slayer Corps’ most powerful swordsmen, to face the demon aboard the Mugen Train on its way to despair. Later, Tanjiro and the party, along with Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, one of the Demon Slayer Corps’ best swordsmen, travel to the Entertainment District, a demon-infested area.
