Students who apply by the Early Action Application Deadline on November 1 will be considered for our most competitive majors and receive an admissions decision on January 15. Students that meet this deadline will also automatically be considered for our full range of merit-based scholarships (U.S. Citizens & U.S. Permanent Residents only). For a
complete list of deadlines, please visit purdue.ws/deadlines Transfer Transferring to any College or University can be difficult, but we aim to make it easy! Before you can apply as a transfer student, you must have completed at least 12 semester credit hours of
college-level coursework. Remedial college courses and advance/dual college credit (credit earned as part of high school coursework or test scores such as AP and IB) does not count toward this minimum. Depending on your major, there are different deadlines for each semester. Do these three things to maximize scholarship and other financial aid consideration: 1. Complete your application by Purdue’s November 1 Early Action Deadline to be automatically considered for all forms of merit-based scholarship. 2. Submit a FAFSA by December 15. The FAFSA opens on October 1; students should release FAFSA information to Purdue West Lafayette using Federal School Code 001825. 3. Submit the Supplemental Scholarship application by December 15 to apply for scholarships provided through select academic colleges and schools.
