English translation of El Amor Que Perdimos by Prince Royce
Last night so41, and me with you
Of the love we lost
Of the love that so much and suffered
And now I'm lost
Me decias that you loved me
But behind my back you enga41, abas
That is why our love failed.
You might not know how much you love
But it's always hare
Though you never my love
What ayas touched
Your lips told me I love you
And your eyes rejected me
That is why today I woman
I don't believe you anymore.:
I love you,
You adore,
I don't want you.
And I suffered,
To the end,
I don't want you. Royce
We lasted one night loving
And the other fighting
And though everything was still the same
Spent years
41, os
Your gave me a miracle
That fruit of your belly
That I more love.
I Dre,
I feel you,
I'd like to cry,
Feeling, come on.

El amor que perdimos by Prince Royce- Listen and read Spanish & English side by side
Another one of my favorites. One of the first Spanish songs I ever used to practice Spanish. It helped Introduce me to bachata music and get more familiar with who is who in the bachata world. Prince Royce is an excellent young singer! This one is called, “El amor que perdimos” or “The love that we lost”. Enjoy!
Spent some time in lowering the tempo as well, made it 30% slower, like I do with the Stories in Gritty Spanish. More advanced learners might wonder why I made it 30% slower when it’s already slow, but when learning Spanish, the ability to listen to to something at a slower speed is golden. When you listen to the slow version a few times and come back to the ‘normal speed’ version, it really helps you with your comprehension! 30% may not seem like a lot, but get used to that version by listening to it 3-5 times in a row and switch to the original and you’ll see.
Listen to the song below at it’s normal speed and the slow down version I’ve created. You can download the PDF with the lyrics in both Languages, totally free. Use the Green button below the video to download the lyrics. After you download the document with the lyrics to your computer or your mobile, you can read it there offline, you can print it out, read it like a small book. Excellent way to learn Spanish. What I recommend is that you first listen to the song without looking at the document with the lyrics a couple of times, then read the document in English, so you’ll know what the song is about, get a general idea. Listen again, then you can start using the document side by side, focusing on the vocabulary and the verbs used. Keep listening and reading, and you will start to understand most of the song, without relying too much on the lyrics and even singing along to it. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, just have fun with it. You can also listen to more songs with Lyrics in Spanish and English side by side here!
Here is the Song (Normal Speed + 30% slower version)
30% Slower version of song
Click on the button above to download the transcript, it’s cleanly laid out, served on a silver platter. Use the pdf to study the verbs and the vocab used in the song off-line. Once you open, you should have an option to save locally, you can also right click and save as in the pdf document to save to your computer!
