This is a pretty good case and a great value. You put your AirPod case in it and it works. I gave it 4 stars because the reset button kept resetting my AirPods. But all I had to do was file it down on the inside. It was pretty easy to do. I just push the button in and he lit. Then I pulled out my pocket knife and cut it down.

There really is not much to say here. It is like reviewing a paperclip. It just works. There is nothing fancy or complicated to do to use this. You simply insert your AirPod case into the wireless charging case. The socket for the Lightning connector slides into its mating lightning connector in the inside of the wireless charging case. It would really be hard to do this wrong. Then when you want to charge your AirPods, place your slightly larger AirPod case on your Qi wireless charger. A green light comes on at the bottom of the case to let you know that it is charging. That is all there is to it. Yes, it does make your AirPod case a little larger, but it is way too simple to use.

It's ok. if you want to replace your current case for your buds, this is not the case. this is a case that you insert your stock earbuds case into to make it wireless-charging capable.

Since Apple won't hook you up with a wireless charging case for your AirPods, get this instead. It's cost will definitely be less and works just the same.

Overall, it doesn't make the AirPods case that much larger. I can't really tell a huge difference at all. And the added functionality of wireless charging (something Apple should've done in the first place) is worth every penny. So far I haven't had any problems with this case functioning at all. Stays closed, charges my AirPods just fine. Super impressed at this value accessory.

I like this product and the only reason I am giving you 4/5 stars is because the rubber attachment came off. I love this product and it is really convenient to just set your AirPods down to charge.

I like the charger. Fits like a glove and works well with my wireless charging unit. No complaints.

Pros and cons

According to our earbuds expert

  • Thanks to the H1 chip, you can automatically connect the earbuds to your Apple devices and activate Siri with your voice.
  • You can charge the charging case wirelessly.
  • Thanks to the fully wireless design, you don't suffer from cables along your body or in your neck.
  • You need an Apple iPhone, iPad, or Mac to take full advantage of AirPods.
  • To charge the charging case wirelessly, purchase a wireless charger separately.

Description

Charging with cables is a thing of the past with the Apple AirPods 2. The charging case supports the Qi stand, so you can charge the case wirelessly. On a full battery you can listen to music with the AirPods for 5 hours. If you also include the battery of the charging case, you can listen to your favorite songs for 24 hours. A new feature of the AirPods 2, is that you can speak to Siri without touching the earbuds. This now works with voice control, just like the iPhone.

H1 chip

The earbuds have the H1 chip, which was designed by Apple. This chip ensures that it only takes you seconds to connect your earbuds with all your iCloud devices. This means you can quickly switch from your MacBook to your iPhone and back. In addition, the chip ensures a stable connection.

Android compatibility

When you connect your AirPods to your Android smartphone, you can use all of the basic functions. That way, you can listen to your favorite music wirelessly via Bluetooth. The music won't accidentally pause when you take one earbud out of your ear, you can't check the battery status, and you'll have to connect the earbuds manually every time.

Sound according to expert

The Apple AirPods 2 aren't for you if you love listening to powerful bass. Since these are earbuds, they don't fully seal your ears. This means the bass doesn't come through very well. The mid-range isn't boosted, so the instruments and vocals sound like the artist intended. You can't adjust the sound via an equalizer, so you'll have to make do with the factory settings.

Note: Apple does include a charging cable, but no charger. Use your current accessories, or purchase them separately.
