How much money does diamond casino heist give you

What is the GTA Casino Heist payout? As you stare up at the gambling paradise glinting on the corner of Vinewood Park Drive, the Diamond Casino is surely an establishment that’s holding the big bucks, right?

If you’re new to heists in GTA, they are essentially an online multiplayer activity where you plot out and exact a robbery with your friends or other players online. This time, the grand Diamond Casino is your target, and after the GTA Casino update hit Los Santos earlier this year, we’re sure there’s plenty of money to go around. It’s not as easy as rocking up with some fresh guns to rob the place, you’ll need to plan and strategise with friends. Thankfully, there are a ton of new GTA Casino Heist cars that make the perfect getaway vehicle, especially if it all goes belly up.

But, exactly how much money will you make? Well, here’s our guide to the GTA Casino Heist payout you can expect from successfully infiltrating the Diamond Casino.

The GTA Casino Heist payout is $2.1m, but Diamonds are back meaning you and your team can earn more in diamonds than your usual cash overhaul.

You will have to think about the team that worked equally as hard as you, so that’s going to be split between two to four players, and you’ll need to factor in all of Lester’s hard work of course – as you can see below his $30k cut, as well as other costs along the way. But the real reward is teamwork, isn’t it? It seems the potential is way better than the reward itself and the GTA Casino Heist payout after expenses is just over $600k.

In the Valentines Day update, you could earn up to 50% more in diamonds on top of the cash. Diamonds were removed from the GTA Casino Heist payout, but now it looks like they’re back, and according to a dataminer, you’ll have a much higher chance to bag some gems.

GTA Online's newest heist is a glitzy casino robbery in which you can try to crack the vault in many different ways, but how much money can you make doing so? We'll tell you the true potential payout of the Diamond Casino Heist.

How Much Money Does the Diamond Casino Heist Pay?

The truth is that the figure varies quite substantially, but expect to make about a quarter of a million dollars each time you do it (assuming you split the money evenly between you, of course). The Heist boasts being able to complete it in at least three different ways, but they all get you to the same Vault, so there's not really much variation in prize money according to method. The first time you do crack the Vault as part of the game's story, there's cash in there amounting to $2,115,000, but that doesn't mean you're getting away with all of it, nor does it mean you get to keep it all if you do.

Things also change after the first heist, as the contents of the vault and what you're stealing change each time, as well as the value. So far the highest potential reward we've seen has been $2,350,000 to steal artwork, two hundred thousand more than the cash heist. This variation means that later hits could be more lucrative than the earlier ones.

How to Increase Your Heist Payout

All that being said, there are some things that you specifically can do that increase the payout. We'll go over them here:

  • Get a crappy support crew. When at your Prep Board in your Arcade, you can choose the three support crew members who provide equipment and mid-heist bonuses: your gunman, your driver and your hacker. There's multiple characters you can assign to each role, but the worse they are at their job, the lower their cut. Those who barely know what they're doing only ask for 3%, while those who are masters of their craft will want three times that. If you think you can make up for their shortfall with your own talent, you can always try heisting with a team of bumbling idiots backing you up.
  • Stick to the script. There are often elements during the heist itself that affect how long you can spend in the vault. For example, not setting off the alarm during the sneaky heist gets you more time to scoop up valuables. If the game tells you to do something, it's generally a good idea to follow it as close as possible.
  • Don't take damage. And we don't mean just wear armor, we mean don't get shot at all. After you grab the loot and start your escape, getting shot damages the valuables you have on you and decreases the final payout. Use cover whenever you can, blindfire with shotguns, and work as a team to protect each other, or else you could lose a large percentage of what you've stolen.
  • Plan, plan, plan! You might have enough info to start the heist, but that doesn't mean you've found everything you can use. Scope out the building, look for points of interest, and do as many side missions as you can if you want to have the best shot. All this stuff can be done from the set-up and prep boards in your Arcade base.
