Turn the ignition off.

In my 2014 Camry, the odometer must be on trip A. It does not work if the odometer is set to total miles. With the ignition in position 2, push in the odometer button, which will zero out trip A. While holding the odometer button in, move the ignition back to position 1, then to position 2. The maintenance light will begin to flash. When the maintenance light goes out, it is reset, and so is trip A (which you use to determine when you need to change your oil next).
