How to see who skipped your instagram story

You can see who has viewed your stories by just swiping up from the story panel. When the story disappears from your story tab after 24 hours, you can no longer access this data from there. But actually, you can see the list of story viewers up to 48 hours after you post it using Instagram's archives feature.

Swipe up the story you are viewing. It will open a bottom drawer view with the story insights. Tap the (eye) icon to view the actual Instagram users who have viewed the story. Tap the (chart) icon to view the insights for the story.

How Long Are Story Viewers Available? Your viewers list is only available for 48 hours after you publish your Story. Keep in mind, Stories are still ephemeral — they disappear 24 hours after you publish them, so that means the list of viewers remains available for another 24 hours after they unpublish.
