How to transfer from savings to checking chime

Note: Recently, the Federal Reserve has removed the limit on the number of transfers a person can make from a savings account to a checking account. This means that you can make an unlimited number of transfers and withdrawals from your Chime Savings Account into your Chime Checking Account! Was this article helpful?

If you want to close your Savings Account, contact our Member Services team by calling 1-844-244-6363. Keep in mind that once you close your Savings Account, your funds are immediately transferred to your Checking Account.

If you need to withdraw money, swipe your Chime debit card at an in- or out-of-network ATM or request a cash withdrawal at any bank or credit union.

When you turn on Automatic Savings, each time you use your Chime Visa Debit Card to make a purchase, we round up the transaction amount to the nearest dollar. We then transfer the round up from your Checking Account to your Savings Account.
