This hotel was fine for one night travelling through to Sarasota. I knew pandemic would shut down any amenities that are usually available like food and gym. Good location and nice area to walk your dog.

Parking sucks! Staff sucks! Bugs in our room. Was told no pet fee than charged for a pet after I said we were told no fee. Rooms smell musty. Horrible experience but a learning lesson. We will never stay at a La Quinta again. We are Hyatt people. Stay at Hyatt and save yourself the aggravation.

The hotel was very accommodating but reservations were a horror. I had called them several times because my arrival was changed due to arrival of the hurricane. I went to st Augustine to pickup my new dog. The hotel informed me I didn't have a reservation. I proceeded to call the reservation line but no answer .Diego was kind enough to give me a room on just my word. I called reservations numerous times before while I was there and after I got home. Finally 24 hours later I got them. I was helped by melody who got the brunt of my anger. She was helpful and never lost composure. She said the Escalation Department failed to send my information to the hotel. I seriously think I'll NEVER use them again.

We found the staff to be courteous and most helpful. The facility was clean and neat but the furnishings and décor are in desperate need of a face lift. The furniture in our sleeping room was pretty worn out and the lighting was dreary. Good for us that we did not spend much time in our sleeping room. Refreshing the facility would go far to match the professionalism of the staff. Best Regards Barb and Chuck.

The location was nice; off the main road and good places to walk the dog. Hotel pleasant and the staff was very helpful. Beds were comfortable. Few maintenance issues need to be addressed (painting of doors and cleaning carpets) to bring the place to an exceptional level. A suggestion: they allow you to have dogs so they should provide doggie pick up bags and a place to deposit waste. I had to use my bags and get into the main dumpster to get rid of it.
