night before London Marathon. Well located to get to Excel and Greenwhich on DLR and from central London on Elizabeth Line. Friendly and helpful staff although was asked at reception for some more tea bags and they didn't arrive. Why not just keep a supply of basic provisions on reception as other hotels do? itself is excellent, very clean, super comfortable etc. The location itself I like a lot. Canary wharf is a great area, lots of eating options, 3 tube lines within walking distance, very very very safe and clean. Close enough to central London but just far enough away from it to avoid the constant hectic nature that comes with it. If the trains are running properly (which they never are, though), it's easily a place to access everywhere, and the area itself is worth exploring. Hotel is spotless. I
travel for work, so I appreciate when things are just right - and with the hotel, they are. The rooms are spacious, the service is impeccable and funnily enough, not even a total ripoff. I mean, in no means is this a "cheap" stay, but it could be much worse. The only note is, the toilet plumbing isn't great, and leads to clogging sometimes, so careful with that.
