This quickshifter, once installed, will allow you to shorten the movement of your gear shift in order to obtain the optimum shifting times required for performance driving. This unit will fit VW/Audi/SEAT/Skoda (VAG) vehicles with the 5 speed transverse gear boxes (2000 onwards) as seen in the 'compatible vehicles' tab above.

This product is supplied with two sizes of pin and one ball fitment, to ensure that it will match the various possible cables found on these vehicles.

This WILL also fit the 6 speed 1.4 litre Twincharged engines as found in the Golf Mk5 , Golf Mk6 and Scirocco. On these vehicles it replaces the OEM part No. 1K0 711 046M.

This WILL NOT fit vehicles with AGU engine code

I gotta say, I like the shifting feeling way better than the OE one.
If you are a DIY person, it shouldn't be so difficult to install this short shift kit because it doesn't require any adjustments', it took me about 30 minutes to do it.

Advantages: Shift reduction

Disadvantages: Shift stiffness, don't get me wrong, I knew that was going to happen, is not a big disadvantage nor a big deal, this is more like a FYI.

The Neuspeed short shift kit for the 2005-up Golf V, Jetta V, and Passat B6 easily installs onto the transmission's selector shaft. The Neuspeed short shift kit reduces the throw length between gears by approximately 40% - this is the absolute maximum reduction possible without overextending the cable mechanism. The Neuspeed short shift kit incorporates a calibrated counterweight which is required for more positive shift action. Lookout for kits without the counterweight, as they will produce very notchy gear selection. This is a completely bolt-on application - no cable adjustment required.

Yes we do, to almost anywhere in the world though remember the postage is often high when shipping anything bulky. Most bulky items we export will go by UPS so you can track the package online and could reach America within 48 hours providing its in stock !

Why is postage on bulky items to some countries expensive compared to some other companies ?

For both yours and our safety we use well known couriers such as DPD Local and UPS for shipping, then we know exactly where it is in the world at any time and we know its going to arrive safely. Shipping small items can be cheap, but items such as bodykits are expensive to ship - we have a very small margin on the postage fees merely to cover packaging. We can now ship using standard post on some items, however using all methods you may incur import charges when you receive the goods for which we cant be responsible for.

You change gears many times every time you drive your car, and making each throw a little better is a worthwhile endeavor.

Regardless of which brand you go with, short throw shifters will reduce the distance between two gears and will require a bit more effort to switch, making the shifts more confident. And if you're good with manual shifts, there's a good chance that you'll like one.
