You can't use a Tesla supercharger yet, maybe next year. If the charge rate is similar to the Tesla it should take about 20 to 40 minutes to charge from 20 to 90% on a supercharger.

How long does it take to charge a MACH E GT from empty to full, using a super charger and/or the home 220VAC charger Level 2 charging at 240 volts (20% - 90%) takes 7 hrs at 40 amps delivered (9.6 kw) and 5.5 hrs at 48 amps delivered (11.5 kw). Lower amperage chargers will take proportionally more
time. I do not recall the amps rating on the Ford mobile charger….maybe 32 amps. Joined 12 mo ago · 13 Posts

level 3). Electrify America has 150 kwW chargers. Most MME owners are only getting about 90 kW average out of the 150 chargers. I think Ford was slightly optimistic in their claims. Some Level 3 public chargers are only 50kW, some 62.5 and some as slow as 25kW so you should pay attention to charger speeds when you are planning a trip. Joined 12 mo ago · 13 Posts

when you are planning a trip. This is part of what I am weighing. A drive from Charleston to Raleigh should take about 4 hours and 8 minutes, assuming I drive my gas car which has sufficient range to make that trip non-stop. The MACH E apparently can't do that, and requires an 18 minute charge and a 10+ minute diversion. That's assuming the charging station is available when I arrive. My personal opinion is an electric car isn’t yet good for road trips, so I have a regular gas car for that. I love my Mach-E, but it is only used for local trips of 150 miles or less, round trip. Joined Jan 29, 2020 · 60 Posts

I regularly make 720+ mile round trips with one 35 min stop each way driving through mountain (6000ft+) elevation and posted speeds of 75/80 MPH. Given that your trip is approx. 250+ each way on relatively level Hwy. and posted speeds of 65/70MPH you should average around 3+ miles per kWh. On a ER battery with a 90kWh usable, that would equate to 270+ miles of range. Worse case might require <10
min. "bladder break". In my area all of the EA charging stations are right off the Hwy (<1mi.) check the EA map for your route.

What does the trip meter show as miles per kWh? That's your range # of miles x 90 kWh usable. Each trip shows 3kw per mile x 88 for GTPE should indicate at least 260 at 100% but still shows 220. Why doesn't the computer show the actual? Very nervous on taking a 200 mile round way trip. Any explanation would
be appreciated and thanks for your input on kw per trip. 2021 Star White RWD/ER Premium Joined Apr 28, 2020 · 3,225 Posts

off but remember if you're getting 3 kWh on a 2022 model you have 90 kWh of usable battery and that's 270 miles or on a 88.8 you have around 265 miles. Try resetting the driver history and use one of the Trip 'clocks' to track your range before you take the trip. Another thing is that when you go down below 20% remaining on the battery a 'Low Battery' notice pops up. Don't let it freak you out. It took me awhile to get used to it but on one occasion I pulled into my garage with 4% left which was
scary until I realized that there was at least 12+ miles of driving remaining at Hwy speed. If you need to conserve, it's recommended that you turn off all accessories, and reduce speed to stretch out the range. Joined Oct 30, 2021 · 17 Posts
