How does Navien recirculating pump work?The NaviCirc recirculation valve works best if installed under the furthest accessible fixture away from the water heater. With the NPE-A unit's built-in pump, water circulates through the NaviCirc to preheat the hot water lines, using the cold supply line as the return line back to the water heater.
