What RPM should I run my Pentair pool pump?

I suggest running your pump on a higher setting for an hour or two. This would be somewhere in the high 2,000 to low 3,000 RPMs.

How do you manually run a Pentair pool pump?

To operate in Manual mode, press one of the four speed buttons and then press the Start/Stop button. The pump will run the assigned speed for that speed button. Speeds 1-4 can be programmed to run at a certain speed and for a duration of time once a speed button is pressed. Speeds 3 and 4 are Egg Timers by default.

How long should I run my Pentair variable speed pump?

However, it is important to note that a variable speed pool pump should ideally be running 24 hours a day to ensure proper and optimal water circulation. When your pool pump is not running, the water is sitting stagnant in your pool allowing bacteria to survive and grow.
