What did St Therese the Little Flower do?Therese had a simple yet powerful message that still resonates in the hearts of millions today. She died at the age of 24, believing that her life was really just beginning for God, promising to spend her heaven doing good on earth. Her promised “Shower of Roses” began and has become a torrent in the Church ever since.
What is Saint Therese known for?She is a patron saint of missions and of florists. Thérèse was the youngest of nine children, five of whom survived childhood. After her mother died of breast cancer in 1877, Thérèse moved with her family to Lisieux. In the deeply religious atmosphere of her home, her piety developed early and intensively.
What is St. Therese famous quote? It is true I am not always faithful, but I never lose courage. I leave myself in the Arms of Our Lord.
What is the St. Therese prayer?O my God! I ask of Thee for myself and for those whom I hold dear, the grace to fulfill perfectly Thy Holy Will, to accept for love of Thee the joys and sorrows of this passing life, so that we may one day be united together in heaven for all Eternity. Amen.”
