The driver era leave me feeling confident lyrics

THE DRIVER ERA

Leave Me Feeling Confident

[Verse 1]
It gets hot, it gets harder
When it's you I don't bother
To get you out of my head
To get you you out of my bed, yeah
There's a bigger, big reason
That it's you I keep keepin'

[Pre-Chorus]
All up inside my head
You're rallied up in my bed
Oh listen, we don't have no inhibitions
Strange conditions, weak traditions
Or suspicions, no

[Chorus]
Oh listen, me and you are great together
Never better, but it's wetter
Not the weather though, uh
You leave me feeling confidеnt, -ent
You make me wanna go again, -in
I'm not just a friеnd, baby
For your diamond and for that Benz

[Interlude]
So confident, ye-ee-ah

[Verse 2]
Oh don't ever say never (Never)
I could do this forever
To get you out of my head
To get you up in my bed, yeah
Nobody compares to
The way that I need you

[Pre-Chorus]
All up inside my head
You're rallied up in my bed
Oh listen, we don't have no inhibitions
Strange conditions, weak traditions
Or suspicions, no
[Chorus]
Oh listen, me and you are great together
Never better, but it's wetter
Not the weather though, uh
You leave me feeling confident, -ent
You make me wanna go again, -in
I'm not just a friend, baby
For your diamond and for that Benz

[Bridge]
We don't have no inhibitions
Strange conditions
Weak traditions
Or suspicions, no

[Chorus]
Oh listen, me and you are great together
Never better, but it's wetter
Not the weather though, uh
You leave me feeling confident (So confident)
You make me wanna go again (It's almost time)
I'm not just a friend, baby
For your diamond and for that Benz

[Outro]
So confident, ye-ee-ah

It gets hot, it gets harder

When it's you I don't bother

To get you out of my head

To get you you out of my bed, yeah

There's a bigger, big reason

That it's you I keep keepin'

All up inside my head

You're rallied up in my bed

Oh listen, we don't have no inhibitions

Strange conditions, weak traditions

Or suspicions, no

Oh listen, me and you are great together

Never better, but it's wetter

Not the weather though, uh

You leave me feeling confident, -ent

You make me wanna go again, -in

I'm not just a friend, baby

For your diamond and for that Benz

So confident, ye-ee-ah

Oh don't ever say never (Never)

I could do this forever

To get you out of my head

To get you up in my bed, yeah

Nobody compares to

The way that I need you

All up inside my head

You're rallied up in my bed

Oh listen, we don't have no inhibitions

Strange conditions, weak traditions

Or suspicions, no

Oh listen, me and you are great together

Never better, but it's wetter

Not the weather though, uh

You leave me feeling confident, -ent

You make me wanna go again, -in

I'm not just a friend, baby

For your diamond and for that Benz

We don't have no inhibitions

Strange conditions

Weak traditions

Or suspicions, no

Oh listen, me and you are great together

Never better, but it's wetter

Not the weather though, uh

You leave me feeling confident (So confident)

You make me wanna go again (It's almost time)

I'm not just a friend, baby

For your diamond and for that Benz

So confident, ye-ee-ah

Alt-pop duo THE DRIVER ERA Releases New Track “Leave Me Feeling Confident” from upcoming album “GIRLFRIEND”

Written and produced by brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch, the album marks the next chapter for the duo after spending the pandemic in their garage studio.  Available for pre-order today, fans will be able to purchase GIRLFRIEND digitally, on autographed limited edition coloured vinyl, or autographed CD.

Demonstrating their knack for creating ambient and atmospheric alt-pop hits, “Leave Me Feeling Confident” can only be described as a song that contains a perfect vibe. Pulling a pounding drum, crooning vocals and vibey guitars, “Leave Me Feeling Confident” is an ode to love as the pair sings “You leave me feeling feeling confident/you make me wanna go again/I’m not just a friend,“lyrics that perfectly fall into line with the album’s theme & title, GIRLFRIEND.

The first single from GIRLFRIEND, “Heaven Angel,” is a punchy track that highlight’s the band’s signature sound, and makes the perfect insight into The Driver Era’s new era. The track received love from the likes of DIY who called the track “funky disco-tinged,” The Aquarian described the song as “Subtle, Sultry, & Swoon-worthy,” and Paper Magazine said the band leans “into the over-the-top charm of their lyrics” and the track carries “theatrical vocals, playful electro production.”

In 2020 alone, the band released “Fade,” “Places,” “Take Me Away,” and the double release “OMG Plz Don’t Come Around” and “flashdrive“.

The Driver Era will embark on their world tour on November 15th, starting in the United States and traveling to the United Kingdom, Europe and South America in 2022.

In late 2019, the guys unveiled a double release, “A Kiss” and “Forever Always,” despite being apart while Ross was in Vancouver filming Parts 3 & 4 of Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The turbo-charged “A Kiss” grasped the attention of BBC Radio 1, with spins by DJ’s Annie Mack, Mollie & Matt, and Jack Saunders.
