There are some quality-of-life improvements throughout that may not stick out as obviously as you would expect, but they really help the gameplay a bit more like a modern game despite the janky controls.
Is Skyward Sword fun on Switch?Motion control-fearing players finally have a way to satisfyingly play one of Link's most misunderstood adventures. A few design elements can annoy and now feel archaic, sure, but Skyward Sword HD is well worth another stab on Nintendo Switch.
Is the Switch version of Skyward Sword better? The obvious change in Skyward Sword HD players will be happy to see is the updated graphics from Wii graphics to HD. The processing power of the Switch is much better than the Wii which has allowed for better movement and accuracy within the game. The frame rate has also been improved, adding to the visual betterment.
Whats the difference between Skyward Sword and HD?"Skyward Sword HD" gives the original title a facelift, complete with higher frame-rates and cleaner textures, all without compromising the original game's distinctive art style. The changes made to "Skyward Sword HD" don't end at the graphics, though, and the game actually isn't a direct port.
