How to get to Bourton-on-the-Water by road
The ancient, picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water lies on the Fosse Way, Gloucestershire in the stunning setting of the Cotswolds. Take the M4 from London until you reach the Swindon exit, then take the A419 to Cirencester followed by the A429 to the village.
If travelling to Bourton-on-the-Water from the north, use either the M6 or the M1 to Coventry, then the A429 south to the village.

The nearest train station to Bourton-on-the-Water is more than eight miles away at Moreton-in-Marsh.
The station is on the Cotswold line that runs from Oxford to Hereford. Use Oxford if travelling from the south or south-east. From the north, you can change trains at Worcester or Great Malvern.

From Stow-on-the-Wold head South on the A429 signposted Cirencester after 4 miles turn left at the traffic lights into Station Road and follow the signs to the car parks. From the South where the Cirencester A429 & Cheltenham A436 join, (ignore Satnav) and travel North up the hill on the A429 to the traffic lights and turn right into Station Road,
use Google to get directions. We have two large pay and display car parks which are open all year round, one located in
Station Road (GL54 2EN) and the other Rissington Road (GL54 2BN). Both are just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the village. Please be aware that neither of these car parks accept cash, however both
accept card payments. The Rissington Road car park operated by Cotswold District Council will additionally accept payments using the PayByPhone parking app. It is advised to download the app prior to your arrival. Disabled parking in the Village Centre is very limited, however there are additional disabled parking spaces at the Rissington Road Car Park. If the dedicated Blue Badge spaces are full, customers can park for free within any space. The time clock and badge must be displayed.

Coaches are prohibited from entering Bourton-on-the-Water via Lansdowne or from passing through the village High Street. All coaches must enter and exit via Station Road, there are dedicated parking zones for coaches and motorhomes at the Station Road Car Park.
