Tyler Perry will make his Netflix debut in January with A Fall From
Grace, the story of a woman whose world is shattered by secrets, starring Harlem diva Cicely Tyson,
Crystal Fox, Bresha Webb, Phylicia Rashad, Mechad Brooks and more.Perry, who also stars in the film, teased the upcoming thriller on social media this week. Watch.
Looks juicy! But what’s even more exciting and admirable? The film will mark Fox’s, famously known as Hanna from The Haves And The Have Nots, first time playing a lead role in a movie reports TV One.
When we say Tyler takes care of his folks, that’s an understatement. Along with making waves at the grand opening of his studios, 2019 has been a banner year for the New Orleans native, signing a massive deal with Viacom to produce and create original programming for the company’s various networks, including Sistas and The Oval. Up next? A reported live-action series on Nickelodeon with 10-year-old rapper Young Dylan.

Is the movie fall from grace based on a true story?
While it would make the plot of A Fall From Grace that much more interesting to learn it was based on a true story, it's a total work of fiction. That just means it has more potential to be even more dramatic, however, so you can't really be mad at that. A Fall From Grace is currently streaming on Netflix.
Is there a part 2 of A Fall From Grace?
Expect A Fall from Grace 2 to release around February 2022, if it does indeed happen. It's worth noting, however, that A Fall from Grace took only five days to shoot, so it's possible that a sequel could receive a 2021 release date, at least if there's a high demand for another Perry Netflix thriller.
Is A Fall From Grace a good movie?
The story is entertaining, there are some intriguing questions that keep a certain level of suspense, the acting isn't bad (some actors are just slightly better than others), but overal it's a watchable movie.
