Originally belonging to Lewis Richard Morris, a lawyer, politician, and House representative for Vermont in the late 1790s and early 1800s, this 221-year-old Georgian-Federal farmhouse listed on the National Register of Historic Places may still be living its best life today. The charming four-bedroom main house, which is surprisingly colorful inside, maintains eight restored burning fireplaces, original period decor, and most of the woodwork from the initial construction. And then there's the Christmas tree farm in the backyard.
Per the listing, the property comes with "30,000+ Fraser Fir Christmas trees" with "significant income potential." Nice. The 72.6-acre property also includes a cluster of traditional red barns, two "income-producing cottages," and over 20 miles of dock access to the Connecticut River.
