I saw a few shows on there I'm interested in, but as I said, I'm just concerned about adding yet another streaming services to my list. I just wanted to know your experiences with it and if you actually use it a lot.

Are you asking about TV+? AppleTV + in case you can’t see the apple.

This streaming service is just $5/month $50/yr and just about everything is shown in 4K Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos. The production quality is generally on point. You can find a multi-month free trial via BestBuy or Target most times. The selection of shows is quite limited in comparison to other streamers but they tend to be a top-tier selection.

If you are asking about the BOX (Which this sub is about ) then that is a different question. I REALLY like the Apple TV Box. The remote and UI is so much better than the smart TVs or a Roku (personal preference). The remote does not favor any particular streamer (like a Roku might) and you won’t have pre-loaded streaming apps.

Agree, the box is a great bit of kit. The one thing that annoys me though, is if you search for a show which you have on another streaming channel, Apple will not link to it but will try and sell you the series at a ridiculous cost instead. My Amazon Fire stick didn’t do this, so why does my Apple TV box?!

The right answer — especially when budget limited — is to turn off a service when they’re not streaming shows you want to watch.

Apple TV+ is what I assume you are talking about? If so, it’s an excellent value for money. The shows on there, while low on quantity, are high in quality. Totally worth it. Yet to find a bad show over there

They're also in a whole lot of niche genres so you're likely not going to care about most of them. And even if you did, you only need to sub for a month to "finish" the service

Tehran, foundation, severance, shrink next door,shining girls, for all man kind, Acapulco are really really good. The others are okay. Black bird just started and I really like it.

The service? Great production quality. They are attempting to go the HBO route. There is still not a lot of content, though. Get a free trial. You may not have much left you want to watch at the end of the trial.

The box? Worth the money if you are in the Apple ecosystem at all. It has a phone processor that is far more powerful than what any TV contains.

You’re not going to the get the quantity of other services, but the quality is exponentially higher than others. If you’re unhappy at the end of the month it’s only $5 lol.

Severance is a god damn game changer. But you’ve got your classics like Ted Lasso to ease you into things. On top of everything it’s the highest quality bitrate streams of every service out there.

Apple is kind of silly with their naming sometimes. People used to think the AppleTV is literally a TV.. then they got used to it just being a streaming device, then Apple decides to confuse people all over again by starting a streaming service named AppleTV+.

This sub is for the streaming device and r/AppleTVPlus is for the streaming service.

In between the streaming devices named AppleTV and the streaming service named AppleTV+ they developed a streaming app for the AppleTV named....AppleTV. Makes explaining it all to novices very difficult.

If there’s a show you specifically want to watch then yes. They have very little content. And I don’t think they really have any non original films.

Why don’t you cancel another service for a month or two whilst you subscribe to Apple and watch which ever shows / films you want then switch when you are done with it. I generally have two services going at one time out of 5. Highly recommend Coda if you do subscribe

Not much content but what they do have is very good.
