What color garage door with white house

I picked up samples of BM Storm Cloud Gray and Dark Olive. Both were nice colors, but not what I had envisioned. And I checked out the Jojoba, but I do think it was a bit too soft. I think we are leaning towards SW Retreat, which we have liked since we started thinking about colors last year. We were trying to go a little lighter because of a recommendation from a painter due to our cedar siding, and that's why we were looking at Acacia Haze, but it is looking a bit teal to me now...really awesome beach house color, but probably not for the PNW. In line with what visualize maven said, in regards to stepping back and feeling what we want for our house, we just keep coming back to Retreat. It might require a little more maintenance to keep it looking good, but I think we'll be happy with the finished product. I found a blog of a lady in the PNW that documented her new house being built (beautiful home!), and she painted her house SW Retreat and the trim SW Dover White. Here is a pic: She painted her french doors (and above the belly band) BM Water's Edge, which I might check out for my french doors as well for a little pop of color - they are on the back of the house leading out to the deck. I think this is in the color range libradesigneye was thinking for our entry door? She used SW Rainstorm for her front door, which is pretty and I'm going to keep in consideration. However, the door company I think we're going to go with has a nice "Iron" (blue/gray) factory finish that I'm leaning towards. I haven't decide yet on an entry door yet, still struggling with the different styles and practicality. I think we will go with a carriage style garage door, as I really like that look and it fits the house. However, I'm back to my original question, with the above color scheme, what should the garage door color be? Would the trim color to be too stark? I don't think we are going to get to change out the windows this year, but hopefully next year. I would definitely like to do something a bit bigger, but we might be limited in one of the rooms - tile on one side and the rooms just aren't very wide. I really appreciate all the help and feedback! I have always struggled with what style our house is. The inside definitely doesn't match the outside, it has kind of a mid-century modern/Frank Lloyd Wright simplistic feel to it. But all in all we like our little slice of PNW paradise :)
