LIVE: Follow SN's in-game updates from Sporting Bowl 56 It's a battle of No. 4 seeds in Super Bowl 56, with the upstart Bengals and the stalwart Rams meeting on Feb. 13 in Los Angeles to determine the best in the world. For now, the status of one who's considered to be one of the best in the world is questionable following the Super Bowl: Al Michaels, long-time NBC play-by-play voice, is expected to move on from NBC this offseason, with overtures being made by Amazon for Michaels to become lead play-by-play voice for "Thursday Night Football." Michaels, 77, has held prestigious jobs on both Monday night and Sunday night, and moving to Thursday may soon be in his future. In his stead, Mike Tirico could take over for Michaels in 2023. But, hey, even Jared Goff made it to a Super Bowl with the Rams. On the opposite sideline, Joe Burrow — the other No. 9 — is angling to make some serious history. Should the Bengals pull off the upset, Burrow will become the first quarterback to win the Heisman trophy, a national championship and a Super Bowl in NFL history.
