Wow, did not even know about this! Just happened to log into Facebook and saw a post from the band. That White splatter would've been nice but I'm stoked for the solid pink anyways.

This cd was good until they covered a rap song. Nothing against rap, but metal bands shouldn't do it. And vice versa.

ISMFOF's "You Can't Spell Slaughter Without Laughter," an album whose title I think came from a t-shirt on [...], is a brilliant combination of comedic immaturity and musical genius; yes, I wrote it: "musical genius."
My favorite band above all is The Beatles. If favoriting a band means listening to them more than others, then for a solid three months, (the three after I first heard them), ISMFOF was my favorite band. The only other $h!t on my iPod was Isis and Rotating Mouth. As much as I like Isis and absolutely adore RM, ISMFOF received much more spin, shall we say.
The actual review: I DL'd their songs through uT and they were all of differing quality. Two were extremely faint and scratchy, and one other one was WAY WAY too loud. I'm talking other-people-can-hear-it-clearly-through-my-headphones loud. So of the what, eleven? songs on the cd, I know 8. These figures are estimates, so if you're an avid fan, don't get pissed that I messed up. There might be 13 songs for all I know. I'm just too un-low to check. So maybe I know 7 or 9 songs; they all rock to the utmost, regardless. If through readership you have gained a trust in my authorship, then that's the only review you need. THEY ROCK!
I'm extremely picky about emo music and all its sub-genres. My favorite emo-related bands are ADTR, The High Court and Gatsby's American Dream, because the lyrics match the intensity of the music, unlike in most emo. In the 8 songs I have of ISMFOF there are at least 7 different genres explored, and well:
Emo, Screamo, Electronica, Post-Hardcore, Hardcore, Indie Rock, Death Metal
If you like at least three of the above genres, buy the damn CD. -GG

My favorite album from this band, the lyrics are sarcastic and funny and the sound is amazing I like the electronica style, this band does it better than most bands.

I stumbled upon ISMFOF when my girlfriend showed me a video on youtube featuring "Smosh." I was a bit unsure about this band at first, but I kept on humming the chorus to "Sex Ed Rocks" in my head all day so I had to at least check them out a little more.
So, I made the decision to purchase the cd on a whim. I am actually very glad that I did. I am not normally a person to buy cd's and more or less ones that have so much screaming in them, but there is something different about this cd.
I found myself addicted to the singer's voice. When he sings it really matches the music and it sounds amazing. It's so sweet that this band only consists of 2 guys. I agree that the lyrics don't make much sense, but I guess it's just the fact that I haven't heard music like this before and it's quite refreshing. It's refreshing because there are so many bands out there that sound the same, and I am very glad to hear a band that disconnects from the Screamo/metal genre.
ISMFOF combines heavy metal, screaming, rock, and electronica to make a sound so unique you can't control yourself listening to more. I have listened to this album 3 times in a row and I can't stop. I highly recommend songs "Things that Rhyme with Orange" and "WTFWJD"
If you are tired of the same screamo/metal genre, give I Set My Friends on Fire a shot, you might, or might not love them, but you can't deny that they are talented and original.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absoluter Schrott (im positivsten Sinn)

I Set My Friends On Fire"... fertig!
3.0 out of 5 stars Ganz lustig ab und zu
