Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2021 The product was in perfect condition. Perfect fit. Good quality. Great price. Worked as expected. I have had trouble getting this part in stores. Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2017 The socket in my girlfriend's 08 Mazda 3 melted (likely due to a short). Went to a dealer and they gave me the wrong part. I believe it was for a 2015 or 2016, or possibly another Mazda all together. Ordered it from this seller, got it pretty quick and it installed within 5 mintues. Getting the socket to screw into the thread was a bit annoying, but that's just the way the car is built. Anyway, it works great! Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2020 Se instalo y funciono perfectamente Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2018 I bought this for my 2004 Mazda 3 because the socket burned out. I wasn't sure where I should look for parts since it's my first time owning a car, but I'm glad I came here. This socket fit perfectly, and it worked perfectly as well. I used it for the driver side tail light. Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2018 I had the same issue as another reviewer where my brake light burnt out, melting this attachment previously. This part is definitely OEM and came packaged in a plastic bag, stating it was made in Japan. So far, my brake light works, since installing my own bulb into this housing. Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2018 This socket is perfect for the the brake light of my 2008 Mazda3. I used it for the light on the left but it obviously works
also on the right side. Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2017 Looks exactly like the factory oem part it replaced, so it probably is. I installed this on 2008 Mazda3. I see some posts about the part falling apart immediately, the original oem part was that way too. Be gentile installing the bulb in the socket. Top review from the United StatesThere was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2018 Perfect condition, easy to install Is the tail light bulb the same as the brake light bulb? Are tail lights and brake lights the same bulb? Well, no. Interchanging the terms is a mistake. These are separate lights and perform different functions.
Which bulb on tail light is brake light? It depends on the vehicle model. In many vehicles, the tail light and brake light share the same bulb called dual-filament bulb. Here, each filament is on a different circuit. The thin filament light lights up as a tail light, and the thicker filament, which emits a brighter light, is used for brake lights.
What does a 1157 bulb fit?1156 & 1157 Red Tail Light LED Bulbs
These bulbs are used as tail lights in a wide range of Honda, Toyota/Lexus, Kia, Subaru, Chrysler, and VW vehicles, among many others.
