To perform an oil reset on the 2016 subaru impreza you need to turn it on, but do not start the engine. Find the reset button on the console dash and hold it. When the light blinks and stops turn the vehicle off and wait 5 min. Your oil is now reset. Show

Mar 06  2015 Subaru Impreza To reset the 2015 Subaru Impreza, please follow these instructions:1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine). 2. Using the controsl on the left hand side of the steering wheel. Pull the i/Set button towards you to bring up the selection screen. 3. Use the Up or Down arrow to highlight the MAINTENANCE menu and pull the i/Set switch towards you. 4. Select the maintenance item (i.e. Engine Oil, Oil Filter) and pull the i/SET switch towards you. 5. Change the next service date and interval with the Up and Down arrow and confirm by highlighting SET and pull the i/SET switch towards you. The reset is complete when the screen shows Setting Complete. 6. There is an oil pressure warning light and a low oil level warning light. There is no oil service light to reset. Check your oil level and add oil if low. Download the manual and read 3-18 for details: Subaru

I didn't think there was one, I have a 2019 Sport and never saw one before. I do my own oil changes so it's never been reset or anything like that is it on newer models? I only know there is an oil light that will come on the dash under two conditions. Low Oil Pressure and there is also a level sensor.

is turned off from factory! I only found it like last month or so. You have to be in park when you do it but it shows up on your little heads up display screen in the middle of your dash. It won’t show you the settings to activate it unless your in park (I had park brake on too) Joined

too early. So go into the settings in for the info screen on the middle of your dash underneath the windshield. The one that you click “info” to change Joined

Mar 8, 2021 Sorry for the misunderstanding, but this is for those who do not have the sport and limited center dash screen. For me, the base model only has basic information on the center dash analog information. But from what Peaty is saying, I suppose the light won't come on if you are replacing your oil regularly or it's reading too low.

I guess there are two separate icons for low level and low pressure. This wasn't the case with a few other subarus I've had. They just used one light if I remember correctly.
If the low oil light stays on after you change your oil, there is a way to reset it. There’s a YouTube video that shows a fuse that you take out but that is not necessary I believe. Mine came on after getting an oil change and wouldn’t go away. If you turn the ignition key off in three times without starting it, it will reset the oil light. BTW, I have a
