Low-pressure hydraulic oil return lines for general purpose water, glycol antifreeze solutions, conveying diesel fuel, gasoline or air. Meets SAE 30R2 performance requirements of both Type 1 and Type 2 for fuel and B20 constant contact up to 125F biodiesel fuel transfer applications.

The HPS Performance 3/4" FKM lined high temperature reinforced blue silicone hose is a specially developed hose with a fluoroelastomer liner in our world class silicone hoses. HPS Performance FKM lined silicone hoses with 3/4 inch (19mm) inside diameter can provide superior resistance to the harshness of gasoline, diesel, and automotive oils. The FKM lined hose can be used where the fluid flowing through the hose would traditionally degrade silicone hoses. With the FKM liner, we can minimize permeation, evaporation, and degradation of our silicone hose.

HPS Performance FKM lined hose has excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, oxygen, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatics, and many organic solvents and chemicals. FKM can handle the occasional flow of ethanol based fuels.

There are Typically Three Categories of High-Pressure Air Hose: Oil Resistant (Class A – High Oil Resistance or Class B – Medium Oil Resistance) and Non-Oil Resistant (Class C – Limited Oil Resistant).

Is silicone hose OK for oil?

The simple answer is no, standard silicone hoses are porous and therefore not suitable for oil or fuel.

Is rubber hose oil resistant?

Is silicone hose oil resistant? Standard Silicone rubber is porous and therefore not suitable for oil. Made to order, our Fluoro lined silicone hoses use a specially compounded silicone called FluoroSilicone. This grade is specially formulated to prevent oil from penetrating the wall.
