Can i buy a gift card with klarna

Klarna as a payment method does not appear when I add a gift card code. I have tested with both the Pimwick and the Yith gift card plugin. I have also tested with the gift card field in both the cart page and checkout page, but Klarna as a payment method is not shown. It works with a coupon code.

Is this a problem that you are aware of, and if so, can it be solved?

  I forgot to give you some more details.
  I use Flatsome theme, and the message appearing when adding the code is:
  “Klarna Payments API Error: 400 Bad Request Bad value: order_amount”

  We know that there is problems with different gift cards and we are working on trying to support some of them so hopefully we can have some news for you in the nearest future but I can not give you a date I’m afraid. Keep a look out in our changelogs for this.

  Hi,

  Since there is no set standard for how Gift Cards work in WooCommerce this is handled different in each plugin.
  Klarna requires each order line item and order total. Gift Card plugins generally add their info in their individual way, with the result that the gift card amount isn’t sent to Klarna.

  Note: This is a known issue with the PW WooCommerce Gift Cards plugin, but generally also apply to other Gift Card plugins.

  We are seeing the same issue with Smart Coupons Gift cards (though there looks like there is code that is supposed to handle it in the plugin). I put notes in at https://github.com/krokedil/klarna-payments-for-woocommerce/issues/204

  We updated our known compatibility issues docs.

  We will look into Smart Coupons together with KP as well but right now the gift card part of Smart Coupons doesnt work with our plugin.

  Hi there, more and more people are having this issue including me. Any solution for this?
  Coupons are not sent to the client when paid with Klarna. I am using WooCommerce Smart Coupons as well.

  It should be compatible with Smart Coupons since version 2.1.4 of the Klarna payments plugin, which version are you using?

  Is it the emails that is not being sent? The purchase goes fine? Please give us more details.

  The payment works. Even the order status is changed but the coupon is not generated and visible in the order. When I try with Paypal etc works.

  Platinum, Diamond or Mint status PULSE loyalty members are eligible to purchase Gift Cards from a variety of stores with Afterpay. To check whether or not you are eligible to get rewards via PULSE log on to your mobile app.

  Can I use Klarna for cash?

  Klarna Card does not allow cash withdrawal, but you can use Klarna's other payment options as well.

  Can you buy gift cards on Clearpay?

  Will I be able to buy Gift Cards? Gift Cards from Clearpay are only available to Pulse Loyalty Members that reach Platinum, Diamond or Mint status.

  Can you buy gift cards with Openpay?

  What products not available for Openpayl? All gift cards and e-gift cards are excluded from purchase with Openpay.
