Without multi-information display
4. Continue to press and hold the knob until the trip meter displays "000000".
With multi-information display
4. Continue to press and hold the knob until “COMPLETE” appears on the multi-information display.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Hybrid
1. Press the "POWER" switch once (do not start engine).
2.Turn off the hybrid system with the trip meter A reading shown.
3. Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown. Turn the ignition off.
4. While holding down the trip meter reset knob the “POWER” switch must be set in ON mode (do not start engine). A message “OIL MILEAGE RESET MODE" will appear on the display.
5. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. A message “COMPLETE” will appear and the message “OIL MILEAGE RESET MODE" goes off.
6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Continue to hold the “Trip” or “Disp” button while turning the ignition of the vehicle on. On push button models, press the Engine Start button two times. Do not start the engine.
When the odometer displays all zeros, it will confirm the maintenance light has been reset.

1998-2006 Models

With the vehicle running, press the “Trip” stem button to toggle the display to show the full odometer mileage.
Turn the ignition to the “ACC” or “Lock” position.
Press and hold the “Trip” stem button while turning the ignition to the “On” position.
Continue holding the “Trip” stem button until the display shows all zeros.

The light will display again after 5,000 miles.
