A year after users started reporting problems with signing in to the Apple TV app on various Roku devices, it still hasn’t been fixed. This is a terrible experience for users and is a disgrace to a company know for its customer service. Either fix the app or remove it. I have a TCL model 55S403, Roku model 7105X. The software version on the TV is 9.3.0 build 4194-30. The Apple TV app version is 5.0 build 81. If I attempt to sign in on mobile, it immediately reports “Verification Failed”. Using the sign in on device, I can enter my Apple ID and password, it will show a spinner briefly then shows the “Verification Failed” message. I know I’m not alone with this issue. And many solutions have been suggested but none have worked. There is a problem with your Roku app. You need to address it. Question: I've installed the Apple TV app for my Roku 3 and tried to sign using my Apple ID and through a mobile device (specifically my iPhone running iOS 13.1.3 that I installed last night. Neither method works. Directly using my Apple ID yields "Signing in..." But hangs there until I force-vlose the app. When I try the remote device option I immediately get: Verification Failed There were errors signing you in. Wait a moment, then try again. I have repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I know my Apple ID and password. I checked them on my iPhone. And help would be much appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing my iTunes movies and shows on my TV.
