They make all of their food daily, including the salsa and guacamole (an absolute must-try)! Don Pepper's Mexican Grill794 S Atlantic Ave. Don Pepper's in Ormond Beach is family owned and operated, and they bring with them recipes from their hometown of Degollado Jalisco, so you know you're getting it as real as it gets! Their queso fundido with chorizo and seafood fajitas are both exciting and delicious; however, the star of the show is their Chimichanga Lovers Trio, which features THREE different chimis, juicy shrimp, ground beef and shredded chicken! 4. Brisas Del Mar1500 Beville Rd, Suite 501 Right in the heart of Daytona Beach, and only five minutes away from Daytona International Speedway, Brisas Del Mar is another excellent Mexican dining option available to locals and tourists alike. As you can see in the photo below, their burritos are stuffed and loaded with fresh toppings and homemade guac, but they also feature some very unique items, like menudo (beef tripe soup), and Molcajete, which is a life changing hearty stew served in a large stone bowl, similar to a mortal & pestle. 5. El Tequila's1784 S Ridgewood Ave. El Tequila's is another fantastic family owned Mexican restaurant, located in South Daytona. They boast that their Mexican chefs use only the freshest possible ingredients, and they have been rewarded for their quality by being voted Best Around in the Daytona Beach Area.
