I received the product free for testing purposes from Influenster and Peter Thomas Roth. 🧖🏻‍♀️ This mask is thick and textured and you only leave it on for 1-4 minutes prior to removing. I have experience using peels so I kept it on for the full 4 minutes with no issues. This mask does tingle a bit while you’re waiting the few minutes. 💎 I liked the addition of the little crystals which exfoliated my face when washing it off! My face felt very smooth after and ready for the next step in my skincare routine. I do feel like it’s helped to clear up some of my acne! I’ve been using it approximately twice per week. This powerful clay-based wash-off mask quickly and effectively purifies pores and removes blackheads in 3 ways: 〰️ 2% Salicylic Acid chemically exfoliates to help extract blackhead-causing dirt, oil and pollutants 〰️ 5% Microencapsulated Enzymatic Complex enzymatically exfoliates to help gently loosen surface impurities 〰️ Aluminum Oxide Crystals physically exfoliate to whisk away pore-clogging debris released by the chemical and enzymatic exfoliation I applied this mask to my most problematic areas - my nose and chin. It has a gritty texture and causes a slight tingling effect that indicates that it’s working. I left the mask on for approximately 4 minutes and then used wet fingers to gently exfoliate further. I really like this product. I have extremely dry Skin & suprisingly this has not dried me out at all! My skin is actually smoother & clearer. I don’t get break outs but i do get a lot of blackheads especially around my nose & chin. I can’t believe how well this actually works to help get rid of them. I only use it twice a week like it recommends. I don’t have sensitive Skin so i can’t say how it would be for those who do. Definitely worth trying though. I received this for free from Influenster and PTR in exchange for my honest review. This is an intensive exfoliating treatment 2% Salicylic Acid, 5% Microencapsulated Enzymatic Complex and exfoliating crystals to dissolve the appearance of blackheads and whiteheads. It also contains clay, so it should be applied to clean dry skin and left for a minute, then rinsed off. I experienced slight tingling, which is expected when using acids. It’s one of the most effective treatments to clean and tighten pores, my skin looks much better than before using it. This is the product that I’d like to use before a special occasion. This is a harsh treatment, the particles are small but abrasive, and I try my best to be as gentle as I can. If effectiveness can justify it? Not sure! Not always we can see the damage such products can cause, and I’m definitely not going to use it more often than twice a month.... Read more

Will a microdermabrasion get rid of blackheads?

During a Microdermabrasion facial, gentle abrasive crystals are passed over the skin in a fine jet. This loosens dead skin and removes the top part of the blackhead. As you go back for more treatments, the blackheads will gradually be removed.
