The PowerXL Slimline Air Fryer Plus is the bigger variant of the PowerXL Slimline Air Fryer with 80% more capacity.

Now, if you’ve read my review of the product mentioned above, then you know that it’s simply not worth it.

In this review of the PowerXL Slimline Air Fryer Plus, however, will it be the same, or will it blow our minds?

Well, to save you time and effort, it’s the same as the 5-quart version. In other words, it’s a no-good product.

With that said, you’re better off with these air fryers:

• Cosori Dual Blaze Air Fryer
• Ninja Dual-Basket Air Fryer

What can you cook in PowerXL Slimline Air Fryer Plus?

The Power XL Slimline Air Fryer Plus has lots of capabilities in cooking. In fact, not only can it air fry, but it can also dehydrate, broil, and reheat!

Anyway, here’s a list of its programs:

Dehydrate

Pizza

Reheat

Steak

Here’s the thing:

Obviously, you can fit several foods in one cooking with its 9-quart capacity. In short, no need to cook in batches, so you’ll save time.

As for the best part?

Since its cooking surface is more extensive, you can cook pizza more quickly than the smaller PowerXL Slimline Air Fryer.

Besides that, the most remarkable yet essential feature is the ability to reheat. Compared to any microwave, it’s the best choice, particularly for fried foods. More importantly, it’s more practical than a full-sized oven since it’ll preheat faster and, again, save you time.

Is Power XL Slimline Air Fryer Plus easy to use?

The PowerXL Slimline Air Fryer Plus doesn’t have superb usability to cut to the chase. 

For one, the handle isn’t as comfortable as a vertical handle. In short, it’s not ideal for lifting the basket, but primarily for pulling the basket.

With that said, shaking the constituents won’t be as easy as basket-type air fryers. For instance, to shake, you have to use oven mitts to lift the inner basket. And obviously, that requires an extra step.

On a different note:

Luckily, it has intuitive touchscreen controls with automatic programs to make your cooking experience a bit easier.

How about the cleaning?

The accessories are safe in the dishwasher, so you can rest easy after cooking. 

Of course, you can also clean them by hand if you choose to. Just make sure to only use soft sponges to prevent the non-stick coating from chipping.

Pro Tip: For any food stuck in the accessories, soak them under hot soapy water for at least 30 minutes. Afterward, it should clean seamlessly.

Only use a damp cloth to prevent water from getting into the electronics and possibly destroying the device for the machine.

Is PowerXL Slimline Air Fryer Plus worth it?

Unfortunately, the PowerXL Slimline Air Fryer Plus 9qt is not worth it. The primary deal-breaker is that it’s not a quality product. That alone is a major red flag.

With that said, you should consider a better air fryer that’s worth your money, such as Philips Airfryer XXL or Cosori CS100 AO.
