the dirty stained bed sheet I found under the comforter and the foot of the bed two days after I had already slept on it. Front desk immediately corrected the issue and also refunded back some of the money for our troubles. don’t imagine we will ever come back to the Grove. Due to the poor park bus schedule, location, unfriendly staff and pool/water park area closing so early. The rooms, however are great because it had a kitchen. BUT Within 24 hours our water was turned off, the Wi-Fi and phones went out and the pool closed unexpectedly due to electrical problems. The hotel did communicate and apologize for the inconvenience about the aforementioned. the water park area closed fairly early in the day and we never
really got to use it. The normal pools were enjoyable when not terribly busy. The buses they DO offer to the parks were very limited and at inconvenient times. Like, who wants to leave the parks 30 min before fireworks start? We never used them once. It was about a 20-30 minute drive to Disney parks. Glad we had our own vehicle but the daily parking fee was SO expensive. But if we didn’t have our car we would have paid more to Uber because the bus schedule was so poor. Every staff member I met
was also very grumpy and unfriendly. It was almost like they were told to not positively interact with guests or maybe they have PTSD from terrible Karen’s. We had the best travel day until we checked in and had our day dampened by their front desk attendant who seemed very annoyed we were enjoying ourselves. The only staff member who was professional, kind and patient to person after person was Nerlie. She really saved my review here. Our unit had brown water coming out of the bathroom sink, dirty glasses in the cabinet, dishwasher was coming out of the cabinet, fridge shelf broken, key cards and bands from a different unit were left in our room, broken light fixture…that’s just part of the things. Stained carpet in hallways, broken artwork in
hallways and damaged/dirty walls. Towels and trash remained all day at pool area. Not a single employee came around during day to clean up. Spoke to front desk and that employee was super friendly and helpful. Offered to move rooms and give us a resort credit. This place has so much potential if only it was cleaned and maintained properly. Can you see Disney fireworks from the Grove Resort?We paid for a superior room with a pool view and fireworks view-totally worth it - see photos from balcony attached. You can genuinely see the 9pm fireworks from magic kingdom each night. I would recommend this resort 100% Some points to note: 1. It takes about an hour to drive here from the airport 2.
Is The Grove resort a good investment?With short term rentals in a prime location and A full range of both of fun and functional amenities, the Grove Resort makes a great place to invest.
