Hello WCPS families, Recently, I was honored to be selected as the 2022 Superintendent of the Year by the National Association of School Superintendents (NASS). Although this may appear to be an individual award, most in the education field recognize this type of accolade better reflects the collective efforts of our dedicated and professional members of Team WCPS. I am extremely proud of our dedicated school and district staff members who collaborate so well with one another as we work alongside parents to provide all of our students with the support and resources necessary to grow and prosper. This continued spirit of cooperation gives me great confidence in our ability to continue ensuring our three priorities of Safety, Achievement, & Opportunities for all of our students & staff. Also, I want to say “thank you” to our greater school community for the amazing support of WCPS over the years, especially during the unprecedented pandemic and the deadly December tornadoes. Our continued success would not be obtainable without each and every one of our families and community partners. I am proud to live and work in a school community that truly values our educators and is willing to be our partner to ensure the success of our students. Our district’s state assessment data has been publicly released for the 2021-22 school year. As expected, we have many areas for celebration across the district and several opportunities for improvement. This year’s assessment data is unique in that it serves as a benchmark (snapshot) of how our students collectively performed across the district. As a district, you can trust us to remain laser-focused on building leadership & instructional capacity in our educators as we prepare our students for the ever-changing world that awaits them upon graduation from high school. You can find Warren County Public Schools’ State Report Card information here. In the spring of 2023, we will be inducting our next group of esteemed individuals into the Warren County Public Schools’ Hall of Distinguished Alumni. This annual event showcases the remarkable contributions WCPS graduates have made both personally and professionally on a local, state and/or national level. You are encouraged to help us identify these outstanding WCPS alumni for inclusion in next year’s ceremony. You can nominate a WCPS graduate to be a part of this exemplary group by clickinghere or by scanning the QR Code below: As always, please feel free to reach out anytime we may be of assistance to your child or family and thank you for partnering with us to make WCPS a special school community. Respectfully, Rob Clayton Superintendent 2022-2023 Academic Calendar
