The coolest fish shop I've seen. The staff and Rodrigo are super nice and helpful I drove about 5 hours (from St. Pete) to see this place and I was thrilled. I was like a kid in a candy store. Healthy fish and great selection of exotic fish from all over the world. Lenny was super helpful and even went to his car and GAVE me some fishing lures for big peacock bass. He went way and above teaching me about tank setups as well. 100/10

I drove over from clearwater solely to go there. If you want something simple and inexpensive you are wasting your time. If you're looking for the rare and often bigger than you normally see then this store is the stop for you. Just go in there with the understanding everything they get is imported and often rare, that does mean not cheap.

Can I buy a snakehead fish?

In some places, yes, snakehead fish can still be kept as pets, but under several constraints. Specifically, importation and interstate transport of live snakeheads is prohibited. Many states prohibit possession of snakeheads, and several of those states have done so for decades.

Is snakehead a good eating fish?

Snakehead fish meat provides chefs with multiple cooking options since it is firm, flaky, and white. The most popular cooking methods reported so far include frying the fish in a pan, baking it in the oven, or grilling it on a standalone grill outdoors. A meal of snakehead fish goes especially well with chips.

What states are snakeheads in?

Live specimens have been confiscated by authorities in Alabama, California, Florida, Texas, Virginia, and Washington where possession of live snakeheads is illegal. Some snakeheads living in natural waters of the U.S. may have been released by aquarium hobbyists or those hoping to establish a local food resource.
