Another great thing about the argan oil hair color (and definitely one of the reasons it works so well) is that you have to mix it right before you apply it to your hair. There are just two things required and they both come with the package: the color cream and the developer.

How do you mix argan oil hair color with developer?

The mixing ration is 1:2 (1 part color for 2 parts developer)..

Use 10 Volume developer for deposit only or 1 level of lift;.

20 Volume developer for 2 levels of lift;.

30 Volume developer for 3 levels of lift;.

40 Volume developer for 4 levels of lift..

What does 3% developer do?

10 Volume (3%) Developer A standard oxidizing strength for permanent, no-lift hair color. It is designed for use when you only want to add a tint or just a color tone to the current hair shade. Volume 10 developer opens the hair cuticle, allowing the color to penetrate and deposit into the cortex.
