How do you use Safety 1st grow and go car seat?

Safety 1st Grow and Go rear facing installation Place the car seat at a 45-degree angle so that your baby's head is in line with their spine. Thread the LATCH belt through the rear-facing belt path. Affix the LATCH hook to your car's lower anchor points. To tighten the LATCH belt, press down firmly on the car seat.

How long is grow and go car seat good for?

Expiration The Grow and Go has a ten year expiration from the date of manufacture. The date of manufacture is found on a white sticker on the side of the seat, while the seat is imprinted on the bottom with Do Not Use Ten Years from the Date of Manufacture.

How long can you use a Safety 1st car seat?

Most Safety 1st car seats have the expiry date printed on a sticker on the backside. It is usually between 6 to 10 years after the manufacture date. Inspect the back of the shell from top till bottom. Look for either the manufacture date or the expiry date.

Can I put a towel under my safety first car seat?

(Like a lot of other car seat manufacturers, Safety 1st allows you to use a foam pool noodle cut down to size or a tightly rolled towel under the front of the car seat to achieve the appropriate recline angle. Tip: If you're using a towel, roll it and then secure it with packing tape to ensure it stays nice and tight.)
